Legal
CBD vape juice, CBD vape oil and CBD e-liquids are all perfectly legal
There has been a lot of confusion created over the ‘legalizing of cannabis’ and the connection with CBD.
CBD is not cannabis, even though it is derived from the buds of the cannabis plant. In the simplest of terms, there are many, many chemicals in a cannabis plant, one of which is cannabidiol, or CBD. However, CBD does not get you high.
Tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC, is the chemical in cannabis that gets you ‘high’ as it has a hallucinogenic effect, and it is this hallucinogenic effect that led to cannabis being banned in the first place.
While it has been known for some time that taking cannabis can alleviate the symptoms of certain illnesses, it has recently been discovered that it is only certain chemicals in cannabis which are medically beneficial, such as CBD.
Now that CBD can be separated from THC, it has become legal in many states and countries across the world to sell products containing CBD, such as CBD vape oil, CBD vape juice and CBD e-liquid. Because CBD can be extracted from the hemp plant, a close ‘cousin’ of the marijuana plant, some of the States in
America have legalized CBD obtained as a hemp extract, but not a cannabis extract, so where CBD oil vs. hemp oil is concerned from a legal standpoint, this is a continually changing situation. To find out more, read or blog post on Where CBD Products are Legal.
