Vaping CBD e-liquid – an explanation of terms for new vapers

However, as with the introduction to anything new, there are likely to be frequently used terms and phrases that may not mean as much to you as they should, or that you simply do not know what is being referred to. CBD

An abbreviation for cannabidiol, a cannabinoid extracted from the hemp and cannabis plant which has been identified as having numerous potential health benefits.

THC

Tetrahydrocannabinol – a cannabinoid extracted from the cannabis plant which has psychotropic properties, and which is responsible for creating the euphoric high associated with cannabis.

CBD vape juice, CBD vape oil, CBD e-liquid

These three terms all have the same meaning and refer to the liquid containing CBD  that is suitable for vaping purposes. CBD itself is too concentrated to vape, so it is ‘diluted’ to a strength that makes it suitable for vaping using a combination of propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG), which are the same liquids used for nicotine vaping systems

CBD Isolate

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD and comes in a 99% pure crystalline form that is then dissolved in an appropriate medium, propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG). Terpene
